Selected from thousands of applicants, this elite crew received top-secret advance samples to subject to a multitude of harrowing photographic situations.

The Big Colorsplash Guide
People, we are right at the start! With the Colorsplash idea we have gone back to the blueprint and once again set a new LomographicBrainchild into the world, and we are looking forward to watching it grow and flourish with each passing month. But one thing is now all the more clear: We are deathly curious and excited to see what kind of images are going to come our way now. We are, ourselves, already experimenting around, long and hard and restlessly, and getting the very last out of the Colorsplash system. But just as much, we want to communicate intensively with you, dear Lomographers, and ask you to sent us your own experiences and, above all, your ideas, your tips and tricks and photos! We want to stake out the new world of Colorsplashing in the shortest possible time, without missing out on any of its glorious details and excellent new possibilities it has to offer. And we don't want to just dilly-dallyingly bunch stuff together and have an odd glance at them every now and then. NO! By the end of the year we want to have the whole thing flowing into a major project, a vast compendium of the colours and idea of Colorsplashing! And to do this we need: You!

The aim is to publish a book to include with every Colorsplash product starting from early summer 2004. A bumper book of the colours, the colour scheme systems and the world of Colorsplashing! A reference work of awesome dimensions on the subject of colour, a tome so weighty in its connotations that once it's out the world will never be the same again. The bumper, wonderfully beautiful LomographicBook of colors – with your help, with your ideas, with your tips and tricks and, above all, with your photos! And the best thing about the whole caboodle: When you send us your ideas, tips and tricks and photos and we use them in the book (Note: there’s a real tough LomographicJury), then you get a free copy of this incredible document per post, and you automatically participate in a mega-competition with some freaking unbelievable prizes to win.
