    This is a dangerous step, mixing digital photography with "analogue" lomo - I don't like the idea because sooner or later no one will buy film cause its so expensive and everyone will just get these adapter lenses for their digital cameras and do the rest in photoshop. Its another step closer towards the end of analogue photography! But of course this is inevitable and in a way it's good that lomo is keeping up.

    I have a question...how are you supposed to meter with these? Or is it going to be a guessing game. I know if I connected this to my Nikon D40 the camera would not be able to meter.

    COOL! this looks like a good (and affordable!) way to experiment with the my Diana lens collection.. is it compatible with the nikon DSLR bayonet mounts (D40, D50, etc)? i hope this article is updated with a compatibility list soon..

    correct me if i am wrong but isn't the whole diana experience about having a crappy plastic lens on a crappy plastic camera and throwing some film in there and getting fun and unexpected results??? I wonder how many DSLRs have nice lightleaks (isn't their a setting for that)Huh??

    analogue lovers will never go to digital plastic body lovers will never go to SLR no harm and no worry :p I think I will get this but I will keep hanging around with my Diana F+, it will be fun to use up my diana close-up lens on an old Nikon SLR sometime!

    Is there an adaptor for my Leica? No, just kidding, in my opinion, it should stay like this: Quality lenses on quality cameras, crappy plastic lenses on crappy plastic cameras, period.
    @kazarareta: We all know that this is PR for selling new stuff and keeping LSI in the business (which is good, don`t get me wrong), but commenting your own product advertising article with "I want...no, need one!" is a little bit too much for us thinking customers!

    just my two & a half cents on the "controversy": i think it's quite an over-exaggeration to say that this is digital lomography... the lens adaptors were created and optimized for analogue SLR cameras... DSLR cameras have the same bodies... lomography has always been an analogue photography society, not a plastic camera society... if this is a tool that is used by DSLR shooters, more power to them!

    Err, guys, just so you know, the Zenit's used the Pentax M42 mount, they dont/didnt have mounts specifically designed for them. So I you'd just use an M42 to [insert brand here] adaptor, which are pretty common on eBay for cheap.
