  Xiding is a very small city (yesterday village even) located on the west of Xishuangbanna prefecture. Its Thursday market is considered one of the best and authentic markets in the region. Read further and get washed by the sea of tribal colors!

  Jinghong is the capital of Xishuangbanna prefecture and when you'll get out of the bus, you will get an impression that you are more in Laos, then in China: the climate, the look, the people - everything looks "not the same".

  Menghai is probably the second biggest town in Xishuangbanna after Jinghong and a a popular transportation hub for the western part of the prefecture.
