A special place for a great rest and a good roast with friends - Lago Peñuelas is an artificial reservoir built between 1895 and 1900. It´s located on the route between the cities of Santiago de Chile and Valparaiso/Viña del Mar, to 20 kms. from Valparaíso (only half an hour from the city).

Last year I lived for six months in Argentina and the most exciting trip I took was to Mendoza especially the road trip towards the Chilean border. I expected a nice little trip but was positively surprised by the fascinating landscapes of Mendoza.
